i just bought an abit kg7-raid and a stick of 256 DDR pc2400 ram will i be able to run this memory like at 2100 or does it not work that way or would some one help me in trading some memory

Yes it will run & it's also a bonus having that kind of memory. Generally you can use more agressive timings with higher spec memory when overclocking.
