I just got my new Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 and I love it! No more Nvidia for me. I'll try to post some scores later on, but gotta play some Unreal Tournament right now. I can't wait any longer!!!!

The KyroII is just good in UT otherwise it sucks in most other popular games!!
I've just replaced it with a GeForce2 GTS Pro 64MB and all the other games play well again.

I disagree on that one. The KyroII does excel in UT, but for the price, is an EXTREMELY good performer in most games. The reason the GF2 performs better in some of the newer games, in because the Kyro II lacks T&L.

Well, thats just my $ .02

Technically it will ALWAYS lack T&L, DirectX 8.1 may help a bit, but unfortunately it will never have the T&L capabilities as lets say a GF2

Kyro II is indeed a very good card specially for the price. You may not agree with me but 99.9% of the people that review this card agrees that Kyro II is a good card indeed beating GF2 GTS and GF2 Ultra in some games and definitly leaving the GF2 MX in dust...
And this card is also compatible with directx 8 games such as UT2 and Doom3. With a high end proc this card will rock your gaming needs...........

I read in some reviews that Kyro III will still go with tile base rendering but this time a hardware T&L support included. I can't wait to have this, imagine right now that Kyro II w/o T&L beats GF2 family what more if it has T&L..........

Kyro doesnt have T&L, and the legend about DX8 goes that none of the current cards (excluding GF3) can use their T&L when the DX8 vertex shader is used. Setting the Kyro2 into same line with these others. But usually game dev. seem to opt for supporting the DX7 T&L even when their game is othervise DX8 title.

Kyro3 with its T&L will indeed be interesting to see. They will propably have some issues with DX8 pixel shader... The difference from immidiate mode rendering could become a issue.

Kyro does'nt support hardware T&L but it does support T&L thru its software. Every T&L task is being done in software so this card on some way does support T&L.
