I really want to mod my MS optical mouse so the LED stays on high-power for longer than just 1 second of inactivity. I've got a very purdy blue LED in it, but if I want to light up anything with it, I have to constantly wave something in front of the sensor so that the LED doesn't go to low power.
The mouse has a 2.2 uf 5v and a 10uf 16v capacitors on one side, and several very small ones on the other side. I've got many many capacitors from when I made a hobby of taking old electronics apart. Does anyone have an idea about which of these capacitors I should change, and to what specs?
