I have 2 128meg sticks of Tonicom PC166 ram, IBM 60 GXP 40 did ATA 100 drive, SB LIVE x-GAMER, VIPER TNT2 V770 AGP, the cdo PIII 1 ghz! and an NIC,

THIS IS WHAT I NEED, I would like to be able to run my PCI/AGP buses at spec, cuz my BE6-II cant do that right now, and I need ata 100, even raid maybe, and excellent OC options and stability to push the 133 FSB 1 ghz cpu past to 160+ FSB with everything in good spec......I am lookin at an ABIT Vh6T, how is that? And other mobo suggestions???? HELP!!!

I use a vh6t, it works well for me.
If you want raid a abit st6r.
If you dont care about tualatin cpu support then the non tualatin versions would be best as they can give more max vcore voltage.
That would be the abit vh62, sa6r. The asus cusl2 are also good.

The answer is there is current no motherboard capable of running 160 + FSB with everthing in spec. Sorry. Once you go past 133 FSB, the PCI and memory bus begins running out of spec. The higher you go, the more out of spec it runs. Very few people can run any board at 160+ unless you have exceptional components for everything in your system, have exceptional cooling, and have exceptional luck. Reality check.

Were are Ya'll getting the cD0's from??? I cant find them anywhere!!!

You see I heard that the vh6 will run stuff at a better spec than my be6-II, liek more AGP/PCI divider options, say my be6-II only comes with the agp 2/3 divider, is that all I can do with a vh6t? Or my pci only divides up to 1/4, but at 168 fsb, thats not enough, will the vh6t have like a 1/5, or 1/6?? Its gotta be better than my BE6-II....more options! Help!

No intel motherboards have 1/5 or 1/6 pci divider.
We all wish they did.
The agp will be 1/2 on the vh62 like most newer non bx boards.

Then I need a good video card, cheap, that will doa high agp bus, I am lookin at 160 fsb on a vh6t with a cdo 1 ghz p3

I have a viper v770 tnt2, and I dont think it can do much higher than spec, any geforce 2 or 3 that will do it? I need a high oc cheap vid card!

Get an Abit SA6R. I had it and ran my PIII 500E at 155 fsb and it ran great. I still have it if your interested. I was going to return it because I need the money but if your interested send something my way. Sorry, I don't want to break the rules or anything by advertising but I'm just trying to help.

Every Geforce card I know of can handle a 80mhz agp bus. My GeForce 256 sdr would run 89mhz on my bx board and my GeForce 3 runs fine at 80mhz.
Most people say they can run GeForce 2 cards at 100mhz agp bus but I have never owned one.

I recently read where there are some new motherboards in the works that will support 1/5 PCI clock dividers, but it might be later this fall or winter before they're out. Most of the GeForce 2 vid cards love to be overclocked and will tolerate running way out of spec. I have one of those Abit SA6R mobos and absolutely love it, best mobo I've ever had. Had it up to a stable 155 MHz FSB also.

OK so my setup like I said in the first post, would an SA6R, or a VH6t Be better for my cdo 1 ghz P3?? I have two sticks of tonicom pc166 ram, and an 40 gig ibm 60 gxp and I will get a GEforce2/3, and I have a sb live x gamer, and I need a good NIC!!! Help, and whihc mobo?? The vh6t or a Sa6r? I need to oc this cDo 1 ghz from its default 133 mhz bus to 160 and beyond!

The vh62 is better for trying to max out a p3 than the vh6t because the cpu vcore setting on tualatin boards only go to 1.85v.
Other than that either one should be a good board.
The vh62 is less money and will let you use more memory than the sa6r as all 815 chipset boards can use 512mb max. If you might have a use for or want raid then the sa6r. Both can run over 160fsb.

I don't like VIA chipsets, they are not as fast as the i815, don't overclock quite as well, and seem to have more conflicts. But, they are cheaper.

Well I have to disagree somewhat with Batboy on this.
I own 2 815 boards and a 133a.
One of the 815's is slightly slower than the 133a and the other is slightly faster.
All 3 you would never know the difference unless you used benchmarks. They all are within 3fps of each other in video and 20 points on sandra memory bench.
All 3 are not perfect but with tweaking they all work well. The 815 has the pontential to be faster than the 133a but if you read 18 815 board comparisons on toms hardware you will see that they can vary alot in benchmarks from vendor to vendor as well as a 133a board would.

DAMN so the vh6t would not be good for the cdo 1 ghz>?? since the vcore can only go up to 1.85? I will have to get the vh6-2, then, I need my voltage!!!!!!

I found mine at a computer show of all places, didn't even ask for it or expect it :)
