I have decided to finally try water cooling but I am going for the cheepo do it yourself method. Does anyone have any ideas for making a lexan waterblock holddown. All I really need to know about is the screw spring assembly. What parts should I get at the hardware store.

Check out my write up here http://www.overclockers.com/tips505/ I made my own clamp out of plexiglass.

Unless you use a Danger Den Maze-2 block, springs aren't used.

All parts required and directions on how to make it are detailed in my writeup.

I recommend going with a Danger Den Maze-2. Then you don't need to make a clamp as it bolts directly to the mainboard.

I'm planning on upgrading to a Danger Den Maze-2 as soon as I have the dough.

Go to the hardware store and see what they have. You can also look at Danger Den's site and see what theirs looks like. A few nylon bolts and a couple springs seems to do the trick.
