The mainboard is your PC. If "low end" stands for cheap, save up for a better motherboard! If you buy a tacky mobo, you'll save some money. Every penny that you saved won't pay for the grief that a low rent mainboard may well give you. Then again, you might get lucky.
I installed an Asus CUSL2-C a few days ago. I am favorably impressed with this mainboard.
I recommend the CUSL2-C. $114, locally.
