Here's the story: disc is scratched, I can't read the opening video for the game. Cleaned the disc, washed the disc, watered the disc, everything short of taking it out for a night on the town, and I just can't get the file.
*I* need one of you nice people to get the opening video, TITLEAV.MAD, which would be in the X:/FEDATA/MOVIES directory, ZIP it up, and transfer it to me. If you can get it on an HTTP or FTP server, that'd be great, but if you're really brave, you can try an ICQ transfer. Be forewarned though - I'm on dial-up, so the 14.7MB file will take about an hour and a half.
I spent $180 on this game when I bought it bundled with my VooDoo3. I'm not about to go spend money to get another (used) copy, since this one barely works on a VooDoo5 anyway, and it's not the end of the world if I can't get this file.
If any of the mods feel this is a bit too borderline, I can provide a picture of the disc in my hand, thus proving ownership.
