hello, i have just purchased a AMD 1900 tbrid and i wanna mobo which can change multiplier and fsb settings, but...i need it to be under 130 cad, or 95usd, does anyone have any recommendations? (i myself am not good at picking mobos, the first i picked had..lil oc ability )

Up he mukt one step, then full with the FSB through the CMOS. If you max the FSB at that mult, drob the FSB to default and up the mult one more step, then start raisng the FSB again until you're happy with your OC. Of course you can repeat the above steps if neccesary :D

Abit NF7-s would be your best choice for overclocking. You can change everything with it and it's about 100$ at newegg.

that or the nf7 non s.....unless you need sata? and firewire?......it's cheap and one hella an overclocker :D.....get it and you will be in oc heaven :)

It's an offical EPoX website.

Well before you buy the NF7 series, I have one warning, and I use this board myself, you don't have precision Vcore control, and the MB undervolts the MB, when I put 2.06 into the bios (and you can't type in a number and the notches aren't equallly assigned) I get 2.00.

Personally I like the MB (I have a NF7-S v2 check my sig) because with the same CPU and same ram and same multi and same voltage, I got one FSB notch higher than my v1 8RDA stable. This was from 168 (2268) to 169 (2281) at 13.5x multi. I replaced my CPU cooler and got it 3 more FSB up. Then I was like this is so close to 14x166 (my dream was to get it to 166x14 and it came true when I switch from a TT Volcano 9 max speed to a TR SK6+ with TT SCF2) so I switched to 14x166. I don't play games so I have no real need for a high FSB plus I have ghetto ram.

That's just your mobo that does that. Mine actually overvolts the Vcore. When I put 1.95 it vary's between that and 1.97. I think every mobo will vary a little, even if it's the exact same model/brand.
