it's a big loss but i want to be sure that it's fried before I throw it in the garbage bin. when i try to start with it i get a three beep sounds and then nothing on screen. i see the hdd work but the screen remains blank :( . is it really fried or what? thanks in advance

Either its fried or it's not seated properly. I'm sure you've probably already tried this, so it's most likely dead

heh. well that's not so bad :) a TNT2 isn't worth anything now. i'm now using a diamond stealth 3D 2000 with 4mb ram :) :) :) but i'm getting a gforce 2 soon.

ya sounds dead, but first bott up in safe of VGA mode, and try setting you screen size down and see if it boots then- that happens to me when i set my screen too big. But you can access it through VGA mode and set it down then it might work- o well it is an excuse to get a new card
