I think i killed my mobo

: I went to install my soundcard and killed the power but i forgot to hit the power button to completely drain the PSU. well there was enough juice to cause an arc or something because when i removed the old soundcard BEEP there goes the board and now i have no bios or posting. So do you guys think its the mobo or somehow i killed something else?

BIOS=Fried i think. Gotta overnight the package so that it can get here before the holiday weekened.

What a bummer man, I had problems like that with my old comp...before i knew anyhing. heh, i pulled a POS modem out to replace it and ZAP. fried man, never cared to figure out what fried but i learned my lesson.

Poor luck, you have my sympathies. Im a lucky person. The other day I was putting the power LED on in my 3rd pc with it on(too lazy to read the words) and when I plugged it in electricity spyder-webbed across like 10 jumpers and the pc shut off. This is a nice pc too. Anyway I unplugged it and reset the cmos and it works fine.
