I today have overclocked my xp1700+ just to check how high it would go! The xp has a agoga stepping. I just tried to set the fsb to 150mhz. And guess what it runs fully stable at 1650 mhz! (xp2000) And you now what it is still at the standard voltage of 1.75!!! Ian't this amazing? How high would you guys think it would go???

is it agoga Y? mine goes ao 1630 at default VCORE, but mine's an XP1600+. i do 1.74ghz w/ 1.85v. agoga's are nice. superchip is a nice term:)
push some vcore and unlock that baby and find out what she can really do. if u havent already been overclocking, prepare for the addicton. It never ends.
and WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

great job. see if it makes it throught Prime95 and the Torture test and it does then, even better job. Keep us posted as you keep the MHZ climbing.

It runs all benchmark programs really stable. It's now running prime and so far no problems! If it runs without problems i'm going to overclock it to a fsb of 166 that makes 1826 mhz that would be amazing!

make sure you watch your temps when overclocking, and i increase ur FSB slowly, you dont want to damage anything. also, consider replacing that HSF for a new nicer one

now run prime 95 for a few hours to test stability. than go for 1.7.
and unlock it! youll thank yourself later
