just got off the phone with adata north america.. asked them why no ddr600 in america??? the secretary got all flustered and she gave me the north american sales managers extension and told me to call back in 45.00 min.LOL she mustve thought i was important... heheheh she even gave me his personal cell phone haha.. do i dare use it??? :attn:

yeah what the heck a squeaky hinge gets the oil. maybe i can be an exclusive distributor only for overclockers.com members.. that would be cool..

man i dont know..LOL but im gonna take advantage of it. actually my brother has a distributorship and he told me anytime i wanna do something like that ,i could go thru is corp..anyway its ten oclock in calif. so im gonna call him and see. who knows maybe theyll lend me a set to review for the forums.. that would be sweet

update: he was there just like his secretary said.. i told him im calling to find out when the ddr 600 will be available in america and id like to do a review for the overclockers. com forum members if they have any that i might test.. he said there are only a few samples and they are in southeast asia (tawain i guess). BUT they will be here in 2 weeks.. darn, boy would i have liked to test out a couple for the guys here.. But aleast i finally got some info on the ddr600 and a timeline for distribution in america..

one of the mods at extreme systems says adata makes their own chips. i was under the impression they used hynix..wait!!! i just thought of something!! im gonna call support maybe they have a set i can review and maybe clear up what chips they use...hehehehehe..

edit: no answer at the support line ill have to try later....the way i see it the most he can do is tell me to get lost, mostly tho the support guys like to help. so maybe he'll help me to to a couple stix..... LOL

Ye, and if he doesn't, we will all spam him with penis enlargement ads :D

hahahah!!!! the guy was really a nice person... but if we nag him on his personal phone i think we will just do the opposite.but i think its a good idea to call sales or tech support asking for a ddr600 sample to test.. here's the main number for their calif office .1-408-980-5168 north american sales is ext 100. if u want support press 3..

im also thinking real hard about becoming a dist/reseller for adata,or any other memory company and just cater to the good people here in this forum(overclockers.com). not for any profit motive(i have a day job) or to compete with the bigboys, but just to make some quality cheap ram available to some of the guys that cant get it themselves for whatever reason. it would also give me weight in requesting ram from other sellers/dist. to test for the guys here.. as long as it doesnt turn into a big headache or expense... what do u guys think?? hey mods would that be okay with u?...

kinda like the classifieds, a member would need 100 poststo qualify.but again i dont want to bite off more than i can chew.it could easily turn into a nightmare....

You could always recruit a few people and make a RAM Crew or something. I'm sure that having a few extra people would make it an easier task. Damn good idea if I do say so myself, flap.
