As soon as i got my 2500+ i hooked it up with my NF7-S motherboard and starting overclocking it. All my progress is in this thread here

when i got my fsb over 220 (got all the way up to 225) the cpu was kind of unable to do much. It would sometimes restart because of the speeds. Typically one would increase the vcore to get the cpu stable again but in the bios my cpu wont boot windows after i go over 2.2v.

Is there a way for the cpu to have accept more votage and get a higher fsb or is that it? My 2100+ got up to around 2.45-2.48mhz with an ASUS board (1.85v) with low temps. I want my 2500+ to beat that.

voltage doesn't usually restrict fsb (especially with it so relatively low) it's most often the motherboard. I can do 229 dual channel without infrequent restarts.

right now im trying it a new way. i've lowered the multi to 10.5 and raising the fsb. it doesnt matter if i dont get to 2.5 with this because a higher fsb is better than having empty speed with a high multiplier.

is there any way to make the chip accept the voltage given to it. when i set the voltage over 2.22v (in bios but gets undervolted) when it gets to the boot screen the progress bar just keeps going and going.

dang i want to try that! ill try to do a search but in the meantime can someone give me some info on this. Is it the same one as the one in the abit section?

i think i may try the L12 mod. it will make my stock fsb 200mhz and from the results i read the highest the 2500+ went after that was 11*228. whats over 2.5ghz.

well i wouldnt find anything on L2 modding on the forums and on google so if anyone can give me some info that would be great.
