Ok here I am running my first custom system. Its very inexpensive & frankly I could handle the way it is running right now stock, on benchmarks it keeps up with pentium 1.2's and is not far behind the 1.2G amd's; however, I also wouldn't mind if it ran alot faster (and willing to take the risk) I have some insurance hardware. My board is a BCM IN730SE with SIS chipsets- the sis chipset version which was manufactured directly before the SIS735, infact the differences between them are not much less than slight modifications and drivers. my CPU is an anthlon 1G. Heres my big problem. The board specs stay it has a 100mhz FSB with Double data rate, so thats 200. the specs also say it can be changed to go 133 and 266. The board is pretty new and I can't find much anything about it on the net & the jumpers that have setting descriptions on the MOBO arn't there- i've located every jumper on the board, I still can't find the s1-5 jumper. BCM says the bios revisions will allow you to change the FSB; however, the only bios verion available is the first one. I looked for my PLL in every single windows overclocking program and I can't find it. I can however return my PLL data into the program- can somebody explain to me how I would master my FSB by giving the pll instructions? Or where I can find a program like CPU cool with my pll in it?
my case was converted into a wind tunnel with 2 twenty inch turbine power fans, I put them on low and it keeps my video card cool @ 220 mhz even though it is terribly unstable that high.
