well i came up wit that in some places where the water flows in a straight line you could insert copper tubes so that heat would be absorebed passively even if just a tiny bit. heres a rough pic of what i was thinking

mmmm please make it no bigger then 600x600 wtf?

If your water is above ambient temp then it is actually the best way to do it. I've seen several people with all copper tubing.

If your water is below ambient, you will do the opposite. You will be heating your water and losing the cold. That's why all fridge users need to insulate their tubes.

When I use to race off road we used oil coolers that the inlet/outlet going from the oil pump to the cooler had copper lines. These copper 3/8” lines you could buy small 2" round aluminum fins that would slide over the 3/8” copper tubing with a snug fit. You would continue sliding fin after fin onto the line until you had the copper lines covered with fins. The fins had a raised stand off area in the middle so the fins would be about 1/16” apart. In affect the lines were acting just like a cooler as well as the cooler.

Yes, I think I saw some of those on Ebay. Let me see if I can find'em. Be right back.
