I got the new ka266r replacing my asus raid last week, since then ive tried 2 different boards, thanks to the cool retailer i purchased them from I have now got a refund.I I was runnin the t/bird 1.4g crucial 2100 cas 2.5 herc ultra coolercase extreme with mods.both boards were totally unstable and would not overclock without crashing or freezing.i tried all n vidia drivers,m/board updates and then contacted tech support at Iwill,They were totally incompetent and offered no solution other than trying more boards !!(novell idea i think ,buy ten boards and your possible to get one that runs !!!!!!!)ive just got my Epox EP-8K7A+, and it runs like a train at any fsb speed(150x10.5 at present rock solid) graphics r smooth and no lock -ups !!
The ali chipsets of old have obviosely not improved, and overall this board has to be said is a poor attempt by Iwill after all the good kk266 reviews and feedback............................BE WARNED

I couldn't agree more. My Epox 8K7A is very stable at 1425 (9.5 x 150) with optimal memory settings and I think it will go even high on the FSB before needing to drop to Cas2.5

what is the code on that 1.4? 10.5x150=1.575 not too shabby at all! this is air cooled correct?

ahyj 644.... m8, seems pretty fit ,"n" yes it is air cooled but ive got c/case extreme from o/c uk and sk6 modified with 7200 rpm delta fan rekon itl go further but waitin till i get aircon unit in comp room ................lol

That is strange, I have had no problems O/C'ing IWill motherboards so long as the chip is unlocked. If you haven't unlocked the chip, the IWill motherboard tends not to like it.

My Iwill KK266R has been rock solid. I've had NO trouble overclocking on it. Must have gotten a couple of bad boards. Maybe the later ones have problems.

Skip I think he is talking about the ddr board from iwill the ka266-r. I don't think they are nearly as stable as the kk266 but new chipsets adn ddr probably make this very hard.

I got one of the old ka-266-r mobos and its stable as it could be

I leave it on 24/7 and never had it crash

Im a hardcore gamer and never had a freeze yet.

ran prime95 24 hours one day and no lockup thin either

Ive had a 1.2 @ 1460 and still ran solid at 1.85v
