I wish the thread title described what was in the thread, lol. Click bait! :p

I dont recall seeing that wraparound oled before. It's blingy! Not sure id get it...did they mention cost?

These coolers were in the news before Computex. Some cheap Chinese brands offer them, but so far, they are not widely available. I don't think they will be expensive until the leading brands start selling their coolers with similar features. If something like ASUS starts to sell them, then it will cost 2-3 times more for the brand itself.

For me it's pretty stupid and useless as most displays inside a PC. I highly doubt most people are just sitting next to a PC and look at it and its interiors all the time. I also doubt that anyone checks temperatures or other things on an AIO display when they can do that in simple to use apps.

I remember guys modding a 6-12" screen from some laptop/notebook they cannibalized and added it inside the case. Adding several proggies to run with an animated background. Thought that was pretty cool.

That's the main reason I went with the Kraken X73 over the Z73. Figured the display on the waterblock wasn't worth it, and put the price difference into swapping out the fans.

It is a cool bit of tech though.

5-10" screens were available on Amazon, Aliexpress, and some other online stores long ago. There was no need to get them from other devices. Everything is easy to install, with HDMI ports and other things already in the package. I have a 7" one that I used for a mod. I guess it was 5-6 years ago. I don't even remember exactly. Now they're much cheaper, and the size that fits AIO shouldn't bump the price by more than $30-40. Somehow, I expect them to cost at least $100 more because of the display. At least, this is how prices of MSI, ASUS, and some other AIOs look, and most of them use the same Asetek pump and barely anything above the average from other components.

Even my vape has a 2 3/8 inch by 2 3/8 lcd screen on it.
