i7 920 vcore?

hello im new to i7 and i was doing some changes and i got down the vcore from 1.27v(that was evga e760 put by default) to 1.18v and my cpu is oc to [email protected] heatsink ( waiting for my cooler) is this normal on this cpu or is better than expected.

How long did you run Prime 95 for? It looks like you just started the test. I think that is a nice low setting but it needs to be tested for at least 8-12 hours.

EDIT: I've read where some people are going below 1.18v on vcore on the D0's so you might have something there.

i try 1.17v and prime for 40min and everything was fine @2.8ghz 67c max(stock cooler)

I was running these settings @ 3.36ghz @1.1v, but I am not using stock cooling. I dont know how bad the stock cooling is compared to my Xigmatek Dark knight. Some guys claim to get up to 4ghz @ 1.1v, but i think your volts are decent.

CPU Ratio: 21(turbo)
Uncore: 3200
DRAM: 1600mhz

Without Vdroop
CPU Voltage: 1.13125v (actual 1.104 in windows)
DRAM Voltage: 1.654v
IOH Voltage: 1.1v
VTT Voltage: 1.2
ICH Voltage: 1.1v
IOH/CSI Voltage: 1.16v <dont know what this is
IOH/ICH PCI-E Voltage: 1.56 <don't know what this is
CPU PLL: 1.86v

I am @ 3.8ghz (@1.216v in windows) currently.
