I have the mobo M766lmrt..i810 chipset dual cpu. currently..350mhz(slot 1) ...The bios says it will support up to 533mhzsocket 370 PPGA, 66/100mhz fsb. date 07/15/95
62-0702-009999-00101111-071595-000000 ...I have updated the bios, now states it will take 850 celleron... I removed the slot 1 350mhz and placed celleron 800... there is no mention of jumper or use of terminator card to enable 370. but celeron 800 no boot. I replaced the slot 1 350 boot ok? does anyone know how I can get 370 to boot?

input appreciated

If your board is somewhat like mine, it will only support a 100Mhz FSB speed in the Slot, not the socket.

It will run 66Mhz in the socket only, the slot will run 66/100 Mhz.

If thats the case, you will need to get a slotket for the CPU.
