Hey,

Not my first pc that i've overclocked, but the only one that i've actually had stability/random issues with. So its an okay bin, went through about 4 till i got this one.
My problem is the heat the cpu generates. I have great cooling, arctic liquid freezer 3 360mm & 6 fans on that radiator in a push/pull, all arctic p12s static, and gpu has its own waterblock with also 4 arctic p12 fans(280mm radiator).

I've tried undervolting it but theres like 4 different spots i can do it on my bios. Where is the only place i need to set it up at? anybody with an identical board care to let me know. I've set up pl1 & pl2, and the max amperage. I've seen people set up the VF curve VID offsets and stuff but is there not a place i can just set it to 1.4V max?

Whoever has this mobo and CPU aswell please just let me know how you set it up. & resulting scores in R23

ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI II On latest 1703 bios.

You went through 4 cpus to find this one?? Unless you're competing at hwbot, binning a cpu is a waste of time and resources, really. The difference between your worst and best isnt much at all as these are all topped out out of the box.

As far as lowering power/undervolting, it's up to you what method. Me, id just do an offset and lower it across the range. You can do a VF curve, but like binning today's chips, the juice isn't worth the squeeze (IMO). These are heaters, period.
