Hi-

I have an Abit IC7, and have experienced something a little strange. When I set the FSB in the bios, the POST screen shows a FSB 1 Mhz slower. (e.g. I set 285 in bios, on post it shows 284). What could be the reason for this, and is it a problem?

At 280 and lower it does not happen. At the higher FSB it shows up. Has anyone else experienced this?

The clockgenerator on motherboards are not exactly matched to an exact integer. It is not a bug, and if you check inside Windows you might actually have something like 284.57MHz FSB...

Yeah, same here, my IC7 does the same thing, but CPU-Z reports it right....might be just a little reporting bug on the post screen...nothing to worry about....
