Hey All,
I am trying to reorganize my tower to be both physically and "channel-wise" efficient. Could use some input.
Current:
Onboard CH.0 Master - Seagate 120GB ATAIV
Onboard CH.1 Master - Liteon 48X CDRW
Onboard CH.1 Slave - Pioneer DVR-104 DVDRW
Promise ATA100 CH.0 Master - Liteon DVD Reader LTD-163
Promise ATA100 CH.1 Master - Seagate 40GB ATAIV
This setup works well, but my LTD163 is at the top of my case
That makes for about a 24" run. Impeding input airflow a bit.
I would just move the components, but I am trying to keep the ribbon cables as flat as possible. I really dont want to go to rounded cables..
I guess I am looking for some component matchups that wont slow anything down....
