After doing a lot of reading i think it may well make sense to upgrade to 1/2 inch tubing and modify my innovatek block and eheim punp fittings to accomodate this. Increaesd flow but without huge heat gains from a large pump should equal a few degrees drop in temps.

The thing is, modifying my rads to take the tubing will be messy so i was thinking along teh following lines:

PUMP > CPU > Y Splitter (all 1/2 inch tubing)

Y splitter > rad 1 + rad 2 (in parallel) > Y splitter (3/8 inch tubing)

Y splitter > Reservoir > PUMP (1/2 inch tubing)

the point here is that i dont have to put odd connections on my rads and also it means that flow will be slowed a bit through the rads which someone advised me may be a good thing ?

Any comments on eth above plan or any limitations ?

Cheers

is the best way to have large pipes all the way through then .....

i thought the merits of running parallel dual rads was to slow the flow through the rad a bit and hence help cooling a littel bit ?
