ie seems to do that to me too but ive traced the problem to spyware. seems some of the more agressive spyware apps can cause ie to crash constantly sometimes im not aware of any fix for it bc even after u rwemopve the software the effects can be felt
try reinstalling ie it seemed to work for me if the problem is not related to what ive suggested it might just ne ur setup. i know my board gets flaky from about 142 through 148 but below and above its rock stable
