IE6.0 not dowloading .exe Files

YEs, it doesn't download .exe files...and then...I go to reinstall it, I restart my computer, and I get a "Eplorer has caused an error" (upon startup) and it wontload. So now, I haveto fix my computer, and then fix IE6.0 (which i deleted and am planning to reinstall). Thanks.

update : it only downloads .zip files...and trap...be a little bit more specific with your questions lol
