If i listen closely to my case i can hear my hardrive working when im playing a game or doing something else.

i assume thats normal right since it has to move parts and other various components?

its not a loud noise like EKKKK its like a soft gentle movement of gears it sounds like

That is probably not a problem. When you hear a click, then you know it is on it's way out. If your hdd is a SMART hdd, then use the utility that comes with your hdd to see if it's health is good.

^^^as long as SMART is enabled in the BIOS.
It's not always on by default. ;)

its normal, trying having a 15k or a Raptor. Then you can clearly hear them, and don't have to try to. If you have to try to hear the HD, then there is no issues. Stop worrying and enjoy your comp

if its as loud as the hard drives back in the day where it sounded like someone carving into stone, then yes, it is a problem.

in your case, i would have to go with no :)
