Cooling : Zalman VF700 w/copper sinks

GG0956.1
12 pipes
w/laser cut
Samsung2.0
475/450 45c idle (stock cooling & clocks)

ZalmanVF700 & Zalman copper heatsinks (I had to grind down 2 sinks to clear the copper fan shroud)
36C idle stock speeds

16 PIPES! after hardmodding pipes & booting into os (without drivers) using Ati Tool 0.25b8.
After booting a couple times with drivers DEFAULTS BACK to 12 pipes. Seems to be locked this way as I've tried everything to keep the 16 with no luck. (includes removing zalman vf700 4 times to apply then remove pipemod)

With cooling I get:
550.13/540.00 stabile
39c idle
50+c playing PoP Sands Of Time

Cooling: Zalman 700 CU
Temps (idle/load): 40/60

Flashed it 2 weeks ago and was getting about 90 degrees after doing so and lowering the clock speeds didnt really result in a lower temp. Added the Zalman and I now max out at 60 and can probably clock it a tad higher if I want but I am happy for now. Who wouldnt be happy with a 30 degrees drop after replacing the stock, huge change. All temps in celsius of course

Temps (idle/load): Dunno. PowerColor feels that Thermometers aren't required on their cards. x_x

This card is NOT overclocker friendly, at least not with the stock fan, this thing will flip if you overclock the core even 2Hz... it's horrible. But the memory I HAVE gotten up to 500, but I didn't want it up there, because again, I don't have a thermometer for the thing.

This is a work in progress, but so far I am not impressed at all with this card, but for 90 or something dollars, it wasn't bad. This sucker is hot though, you do not want to touch any part of this card out of curiosity to feel it. Once I get some better cooling on it and spend some time to really fine tune my OC, it should improve. But for now, I was lazy, ramped it until I found instant locking or artifacts then lowered it a bunch. :p
