igi2 cheat codes won't work

I tried to work with the cheat codes for the IGI2 game but it didn't work. They ask to type something in the main menu and i did it and the type something like "allgod" like that but nothing works, So anyone have any idea how to overcome this. I've the intial game installtion and no patch applied to that from the web site.

Maybe there is an enter cheat button somewhere in Options?

I played that game a long time ago, with the cheats. I don't remember how exactly I got them to work, but they did. I didn't like the game to much anyways.
