iv just tryed to put IIS on my pc when. i restarted the pc rebooted its self ive removed IIS after starting in safe mode and its all fine now. Can i put this on and have it work??
i do have some web services runing on the pc but just for my lan

Is it critical that you go with IIS?

I find Apache webserver a bit easier to use.

IIS on the win 2k disk restarts my pc if i install it do i need it to run my web pages on my lan

Not to be a di**, but I found your post almost impossbile to understand without rereading it at least twice. Punctuation was invented for that reason. Not saying you have to, but it would be helpful to people trying to help you.

Ok, I think I get your problem now. Whenever you try to install IIS, your system reboots, correct? If that's the case, try dropping your overclock back to stock and see if it still does it.

yeah stil does
last time i had to format the system cos i couldnt remember what i had changed. this time i remembered. last time it happened it was not oced
