illegal operation error

hello, I am receiving this error a lot on a new PC. When I log in, I get about 5 immediate errors and basically get the error on any program I try to run, from basic browser, to the event viewer..few programs work but just about everything is throwing this error.

its an illegal operation error/illegal instruction

0x000001d with 0xfe5d4f452

that appears on every single error.

any ideas?

I ran memtest and it passed 3 times 0 errors.

Resintall your OS would be my quick fix. Then again, I have images I can restore from so your time to recover may vary.
