I have a Gigabyte 7IXE4 mobo and a Duron 850. I can change the FSB for the botherboard upto 115 max, but anything past 110 is unstable. I want to be able to change the clock multiplier instead, as it is more stable doing so for the system. Theres no option in the bios or any jumpers on the board to change the multiplier...is there any way of being able to change the multiplier......my Duron is already unlocked.
I've found this site : http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/candjac/index.htm, but its too difficult and requires soldering etc.....is there an easier way? maybe something to do with the L bridges on the CPU ....but i think the only way to change the multiplier is to change it on the mobo.
I'm greatful of any help.
P.S. i have my core voltage at 1.80 now ....will it help with stability?
