images not loading in I.E

I have been noticing lately that everynow and again when i go to a website like a forum, a lot of the symbols/ icons dont load and i just get placeholders. If i refresh, or right click and show picture it will load.

Any idea why, or how to fix this?

I am using xp pro with sp1

I get the same problem every now and then. I don't know what causes it, and it is aggrivating, but I can live with it.

Just one of IE's qwerks. You could try a different browser like Opera or Mozilla.

over @ xp-eriance forums, there seems to quite a few ppl with the same problem - all reporting it only started after sp1 update..

guess i will just live with it for now then

weird, i know sp1 fixes alot of bugs, but im sure it includes a few new ones --as stated you might have found one
