In-Order Cue Depth?

My Abit SH6 has this setting in the bios.
The manual says it sets the cpu cache buffer the options are 1 or 4.
What is the cache buffer and what does 1 or 4 mean?

I have a be6 2 v2 and it has the same option but it is 1 and 8 and at one my memory scores in sandra suck bad, worse than my ss7 mobo with amd k63+. but at 8 they rock.
so you will want to leave it at 4 for better performance.

good idea he could use sisandra and see if he can get better bandwidth by using 1 through\or 4
