Hello all!

First time posting here, so I apologize if this question has a very obvious answer. I built a new system in early January of this past year, but because of budget constraints, I pushed off upgrading the GPU until yesterday.

However, now I'm worried that my ability to overclock my CPU and GPU will be hampered by my PSU. I'm currently running a modest 4.2MHz OC on my 3570K, and I just ordered the ASUS GTX 760. I know stock TDP is 170W, but in reviewing the overclock of the card here on overclockers.com, the card can pull upwards of 273W in testing.

I have a 620W PSU (Antec NeoECO 80+ Bronze), and in running calculations this morning, I'm worried that I may not have enough head room to overclock the CPU and GPU. Can you guys give me any guidance on whether OCing both is reasonable with the components I've given? I'd appreciate it.

I will say that I'm less concerned about synthetic environments and more concerned with actual usage. Thank you, thank you, thank you if read this far :)

Full component list is below in case it's helpful or needed.

- i5 3570K
- ASUS GTX 760
- Antec NeoECO 80+ Bronze 620W
- ASRock Z77 Extreme4
- Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
- LITE-ON DVD Burner
- Western Digital Blue 500GB
- Western Digital Blue 1TB

Should be able to handle it... my card stock pulls alot closer to 300w under load according to reviews and I havnt had any issues. Mine is also overclocked to 1000/1250 (5000) with 1.1 vcore

Also not sure how accurate it is but pcpartspicker.com gives PSU wattage recommendations if you put all your parts in

Should easily be able to handle it..that wattage reading in our reviews, like most online, are total system power, not just the gpu. ;)

A 550ti shouldnt pull anywhere close to 300w... Unless it was sitting.in an amd octo or Intel overclocked hex... That card uses way less power than what.the oo is looking for.

Yeah, so that's embarrassing. I promise I can read. Thank you for the succinct (and kind) reply!

I was in a rush and it's what I was meaning to get at. Thank you for clearing it up :)
