when you reset the system did you change the slave and master?
the cables also need to be ATA100 ? not udma 66
if you switched the HD DVD did you leave the cables where they were or did you move the cables
cant use a udma 66 cable on a ATA100 the 100 cable is backwards compattable to but cant 66 to 100 this i think may be the Problem.
But then a gain MSI S___s just read my sig.
