Installshield installers do not work at all in XP

I cant get ANY install programs that uses Installshield to install under win XP.
I used to work but after the last reinstall of winxp i cant get any of them to work.
I allways get an error saying "can't decompress"
Anyone having the same problem or know how to solve it????

I have hpt370 raid maybe thats the problem so it cant read the correct amount of free space correctly, i dont know.

It's very annoying cuz most appa use Installshield so i cant install anything!!!

My friend was havign the same problems also, until he got ****ed off at it and reformated and reinstalled. Stupid Windows, I guess this is ne of the reasons that I dont want to get the new XP.

I'm having the same problem except it tells me a certain file is damaged or corupt. Need help also if anyone has any ideas.

Another friend of mine who also has XP cannot turn his computer off without hitting the power switch since Windows will not shut down even after choosing to shut down.
