Intel and TRIM?

Does anyone know when Intel will re-release the firmware adds TRIM or a firmware that will?

I can keep waiting as the 160GB G2 I ordered wont even be in stock until December the 3rd

The only answer given by Intel is late November... so could be tomorrow, could be the 30th.

You'll also get the 100MB/s speed bump on Writes with the new firmware! Intel is only enabling this on te 160GB G2's. The 80GB G2 Owners and all G1 owners will be stuck @ 80MB/s (crippled by firmware).

Oh wow that does suck! I'm super glad I got the 160GB version Soo can't wait until it arrives!
