Lately i have had a problem, my case temp has been ridiculously high, and my cpu temp has either been lower than my case or equal. After doing some preliminary research, I have noticed that it is a common problem. My question, or more of a challenge, can anyone figure out a way to fix this?

I doubt it will solve your problem, and I have no idea why, but I also had something like it. I had an asus a7s333 and the nb got a lot hotter then the cpu, in fact I couldn't touch their cheap hs on it of fear of burning myself. So I just added a nice fan (off another hs) and it cooled it down real quick.

The only reason why it would get so hot I guess is because it was oc'ed pretty high. But I have no idea on those boards, does your nb hs have enough cooling?

it's passive. I guess it can't handle pc3200 to well. I had pc2700 and it ran at 33, now it gets upwards of 40.

Woah, thats too hot for any board I would think, especially with passive cooling. Can anyone else with these boards chime in what they are getting? Active cooling will make a big difference for you if you have a spare fan hanging around. You most likely will get a better oc with a cooler nb.
