Internet Connection Sharing

Hi, had a question. I have Windows XP, cable internet access, and a modem. The question is this. I know it is possible, but not sure how

Can I set up my PC as a server which could accept a dial in connection and when the user connects to my PC, he can access the internet from my pc?

I know how to up my PC for accepting Dial in connections(Using dial in server), but after that what would I do? Would I need to use a proxy server similar to Wingate or is there any other way.

just click on your NIC that has the internet comming in on it and goto advanced and choose ICS there is a little box that needs to be checked there are also some options there that you can choose not many though...only two.
