Hello, my name is Adam. Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I just discovered this site while looking up guides on how to overclock the computer I'm building. I've read a few stickies on the topic and am now explorering the orgy of information available on this site. It's wonderful.

I recently had a catastrophic failure in my old system and decided to upgrade. After the fire.....this is what I decided to go with. Opinions are GREATLY appriciated. If you guys can help me with any advice, cooling, etc., that would be awsome.

Apeiva X-Jupiter G Type ATX Full-Tower Case.

XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard CPU Bundle - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor 2.40GHz OEM, 4096MB PC6400 DDR2 OCZ Memory (2 x 2048MB)

DUAL BFG NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT OC 512MB PCIe 2.0

Ultra / ChillTec / Socket 939/775/AM2 / Thermal Electric CPU Cooler

BFG - 800-Watt ATX CPU Power Supply 12v x 2

Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio 5.1 channel (Logitech Z-5500)

28" Samsung HD 780i LCD (resolution for THIS setup, unsure, last was 1378 x 786)

And I bought this on impulse. It was like 12 bucks. Glows blue and should look great at least. :p

Should have everything together by tomorrow. My plan with this system is to OC it to 2.8-3.0 GHz to run my pc games. Flight Sim X, Crysis, COD 4, WoW and such.

Criticism? Your thoughts?

Like I said, I'm somewhat new at this. This is my first build since, "the great fire of 2007";found out it was a faulty psu.

Thanks in Advance!

Welcome to the forum! I haven't heard of the BFG except for seeing it at Fry's last week. Looks like a good build. I'd just hope that BFG didn't buy some crap and slap their name on it so they could sell tons of them.
