Is anyone buying 1800+'s anymore?

I'm looking at building a system for my brother-in-law and overclocking it for him. From what I understand, the 1800+'s were doing well a few moths ago with some getting to the 2.6 area. This would be about perfect since they are now coming locked and run on an 11.5 multi. I'd be really happy just to get him to 11.5x200 for 2300mhz. That's be a pretty rockin system for pretty cheap.

Any thoughts on the matter? Are there any "A" cores left out there? Will be buying from Newegg or ZipZoomFly or something.

*sigh*

Does anyone have any answers for the questions that I did ask?

They may or may not be making them, but they are still for sale.

Locked or unlocked doesn't matter to me. The only thing that matters is if there are any "A" cores (undesirable of course) left and if the "B" cores will reach 2300 real mhz without trying very hard.
