Is Ballistix Good

Thursday i ordered stuff in a hurry.

Because i had to do service calls. work
I ordered nForce 680i SLI + E6600+ 2GB Ballistix.

Need to know if the Ballistix DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Cas5 is any good.

It was on sale 284 + a 25 rebate so i got it

I only got the 680i SLI so i can use my sli 7900s
Dont have cash for new windows and new video card

its good ram, it uses D9GMH, so itll do probably ddr2-1000 4-4-3 with 2.3-2.4v.

they use the D9 microns like he said. they are THE best ram you can possibly get (more or less)

Ballistix are good, I own pc6400, never had problem with memory and rebate works out within 6-8 weeks

Great RAM, can take the heat and the volts easily. I am running it right now at 4-4-4-12 at 2.10v with a 1:1 ratio without any issues.

While you're at it: Do you know what Chips are used for the Kingston KHX6400D2K2/2G? Also DDR2-800 and cl5 but at least here these are cheaper than the crucials.

I've got my eye on the Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDr2 PC1000 sticks myself. I hear good things about Crucial so i figure i'll give it a shot in my next build.

the Ballistx DDR2 800 and DDR2 1000 and even the PC5300 all use Micron D9GMH IC's.. all good stuff.
ZZF has a decent price on the DDR2 800 IIRC (no rebate)

tracers? if you like the bling.. same sticks as the regular heatspreaders.
