Hi ,

Like the title says is it worth the effort to go from a 1.4 tbird to an XP 1900 or 2000 . Is there any advantages other than clock speed ?

Looking for feedback about it !

Thanks Billy

There won't be a big difference other than clock speeds. The XP's will perform a little bit better but not enough to justify the money/labor into getting one. Now, if you're interested in the 1900+'s, then I'd wait and get a t-bred when they come out. They will be worth the effort and money IMO.

I have a T-bird 1.4 as well as a xp1600. I too have my eye on a 1900, just waiting for around $130 or so. I get a descent one and it is possible to take a run at 2.0Ghz. Don't really care about 2.1 or 2.2, it is that 2.0 Ghz barrier thing.;)
