All of Seti is down - web site, and uploads/downloads. They have been down since late Saturday Morning, Pacific time. I have downloaded the newgroups, and not a single posting from berkeley, which is very uncharacteristic. In the past some one from berkeley has posted in the usenet newsgroups as to the scope of the problem and some kind of explanation as to an ETA for the resolution of that problem. This time, not a word.
I believe that one of the 3.5+ million crunchers found the an alien signal, and the Aliens know that we are on to them. They must have swooped down sometime Saturday and abducted all of the Berkeley servers. If not the aliens then the NSA.
