Just noticed that when changing the strapping for the core voltage as per the manual that came with my Asus mobo, the voltage actually came out wrong!!!!
Way wrong!!!
I followed the pictoral for the pin set up for the 1.625/1.65 Volts which is VID1 [1+2}
VID2 [1+2]
VID3 [2+3]
VID4 [1+2]

The actual core voltage as reported in bios is 1.72
which is a mirror image of the strapping for 1.625 above in the manual. Is the manual wrong? Has anyone else noticed this?
Hmmmmmmmm!

I had this verry problem. The VID jumperes on the board are the opposite in the manual. Just follow w hat the manual says, if it says to put this on VID# put it on the same VID# on the board. Just match the numbers.

Are the VID #'s backward or the PIN #'s ?
Did you contact ASUS about it?
