i gotta blorb for my herc prophet 2 mx400 and the damb thing wont fit it [resistors in the way!] so seems though i got it ,has it any use anywhere else. my northbridge maybe. the kt7a northbride h/s/f is kinda small? ? ? ? ?

i also ordered a blorb for my prophet ii mx and found that there was a single capacitor in the way
of course, with the sacrifice of a couple fins off the heatsink, i was able to mount it perfectly, although the fins hung over the connectors, so i had to chop some more fins off

id say i chopped about 7-8 fins off the blorb so it wouldnt interfere with anything, FYI i used an ordinary dremel to do the operation

i dunno about using the blorb on northbridge, i dont think id touch it unless your board was getting really hot with the stock HSF on it

I tried to put the blorb on my northbridge but the holes didn't line up. If you use it there you will need to use themal tape or artic silver adhesive compound.
