My cousin bought a system on line that was set-up rather good for the $$, but the mobo is a crappy micro-atx board which refuses to co-operate with the BIOS update that he needs to do to run WinXP on it. It is also very cramped and there is no expandablity left in it. He wants to stay with his 1.4 AMD CPU, his 2 (he has a third) sticks of PC133 2.5CAS Infineon memory, his 8500 ATI (which is giving him trouble because the AGP setting in BIOS need to be updated for it) and the rest of his stuff. Would the KK266+ do the job for him or would you guys recommend something else. He is kind of felling burnt buy the system since we have tried everything we can come up with and it is still acting up! He doesn't want to brop to much more $ into the system if he can help it and I found this board a local retailer we trust (he is impatent and is feeling cheated buy on line dealers) that sells it for $115. What are you guys's thoughts? Thanks for the help!

IMHO the KK266+ is one of , if not the best KT133a motherboard for overclocking both Tbirds and XPs.

Hoot

Luv mine like CRAZY :D
Best thing since "sliced bread" or PB&J....LOL

Buts that's just my opinion.

It really is nice, and stable too.

Thanks for the responces guys! I have always liked IWILL mobo since the first one I bought waaayyyyy back in the K6-2 days. Thanks for the help! :)

The Iwill kk266+ was my last kt133 board and I must say it was the best. I really liked it. It has stability, performance and best of all it is a GREAT OVERCLOCKER! It quite simply is the bomb!

Only caveat is the VIA KT133A chipset. Bookmark viaarena or viahardware for drivers/patches...
