is there a way to enable hyper threading on northwoods with it disabled

acording to some article i once read all pentium 4s have a version of ht on them even the willemets and i was wandering if there was a way to unlock that on any kind of pentium 4?

i saw a little paper thin pcb that goes betwene the proc and the socket thats suposed to enable ht on the chipset 845 but does that do anything to this end
 
The adapter is only for allowing certain 845 chipsets to use hyperthreaded processors, it does not enable hyperthreading ON the processor.

yeah i remember seeing those too. i thought you could use them on the the cpus that were under 3.06 on the 533mhz bus p4 northwoods to make them use the ht on the chip guess i was wrong though.
