Is there a way to go back to DX 8?

I have latest DX9 and i would like to go back to 8.1 is there a way?

No, sadly there isn't. However, I'm guessing that you want to go back to DX8 so you can run 3DMark2001se... if you want to run it with DX9, get the Build 330 patch from Futuremark.

there are ways, they have programs to do it, but they are complicated.. i will post back if I can find you a link.

www.guru3d.com has it but their downloads page is down again. It easier if you have WinXP and the original cd.
