Is there an Audigy 3 in the works or a PCI Express sound card in the future?

For myself and many other people who may be in the market for a sound card, this could be important to know any information about.

1) Audigy 3, or something better for gaming than the Audigy 2 ZS?

2) PCI Express sound cards - how far off are they, and do you think there will be any advantage to using the PCI Express interconnect as opposed to regular PCI?

That's what I figured, guess I'll hang onto my Santa Cruz for a little longer then, probably until when I build a whole new system.

... and don't forget intel's audio HD. but i think you can't count it as pci-express since it's integrated into the brigde

The next Soundstorm will be better of course, but I don't see myself using onboard as opposed to purchasing a card like an Audigy 3.
