Is there an Audigy 3 in the works or a PCI Express sound card in the future?

For myself and many other people who may be in the market for a sound card, this could be important to know any information about.

1) Audigy 3, or something better for gaming than the Audigy 2 ZS?

2) PCI Express sound cards - how far off are they, and do you think there will be any advantage to using the PCI Express interconnect as opposed to regular PCI?

Soundstorm makes the south bridge uber hot and i must agree with circut breaker, right after i got my audigy 2 zs platnium i was stunned how good of sound could be played without having a highend system!

The next Soundstorm will be better of course, but I don't see myself using onboard as opposed to purchasing a card like an Audigy 3.
